Friends Program
The Friends of the Ronald McDonald House support the House by providing volunteers, community education, and fundraising. Whether decorating the House for holidays, arranging meals for the guests, speaking to groups, or planning the Luminary Project, the Friends play a big part in making it possible for 17 families to be welcomed at the House each night.

Light a Luminary
The Light A Luminary project is the major fundraising event for the Ronald McDonald House. Luminaries are sold in kits and each $5 kit contains 6 white bags, 6 candles and sand. On December 24, luminaries are lit and placed in neighborhoods in honor of families who stay at the Ronald McDonald House. The project is coordinated by the Friends of the Ronald McDonald House, and 100% of the proceeds directly benefit the House.

Luminaries are available for purchase year round at the Ronald McDonald House and can be used for any special occasion.
