How are House operations funded?

It costs $73 to operate each room each night and families are asked to pay $5 for each night they stay with us. The gifts of generous donors, as shown below, allow us to make up the difference between the actual cost of the room and the amount families can pay.

Complete financial information is available on Guidestar.org.

Can children help the Ronald McDonald House?

Absolutely! Children can collect wish list items, make goody bags, bake cookies, collect pennies, or occasionally volunteer at the House with their parents or youth group. Give us a call or check out our Make A Difference section for more ideas.

What are Luminaries and how can I be involved?

The Light A Luminary project is the major fundraising event for the Ronald McDonald House. Luminaries are sold in kits and each $5 kit contains 6 white bags, 6 candles and sand. On December 24, luminaries are lit and placed in neighborhoods in honor of families who stay at the Ronald McDonald House. The project is coordinated by the Friends of the Ronald McDonald House, and 100% of the proceeds directly benefit the House.

Luminaries are available for purchase year round at the Ronald McDonald House and can be used for any special occasion.
